Notes...

  • We are not organizing or promoting this ride or encouraging or recommending that people ride this ride, but we merely intend to provide friendly help to riders who would ride anyway. We offer an online gathering place for riders to connect with each other and with their supporters. We intend to speak with authority on reporting what others have said, not to dictate or require what others must do.
  • Along those lines, as we are not offering services, we ask nothing in return. There is no charge to ride this ride, which takes place on public roads. Just as we don’t encourage others to ride, we don’t restrict anyone from riding. Beware of inexperienced riders!
  • Riders and their supporters participate at their own risk. Please especially note our list of reasons that you should not attempt this ride.
  • We recommend that you be familiar with all traffic laws and we urge you to obey them for your safety and the safety of others.
  • Where: Under the MoPac bridge in Zilker Park. (map).
  • Route, with support stations
  • Weather forecast: puny.it/tdh/wx
  • Discussions among riders are at the Yahoo! Group: TourDasHugel.
  • Although there will be support, you would be wise to be prepared to provide your own support. (At the very least, you probably won’t feel very welcome if you aren’t prepared to change your own flat — or two.)
